Doug Heyes first came into an awareness of his gift for Spirit-Energy Healing following his own miraculous healing from a paralyzing spinal-cord injury, a story which has received widespread attention since its publication in Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Book of Miracles "Miracle on the Mountain." Since that life-changing experience, Doug has devoted himself to the study and practice of transformational healing. He has worked extensively with a variety of masters and teachers in the field, skillfully combining modern approaches of Spiritual Psychology and Quantum Theory with traditional prayer and the ancient practice of Qi Gong (Chi-Kung), developing a unique and dynamic approach to Spirit-Energy Healing through hands-on, distance, and remote protocols.
What is fascinating about his approach is that its effectiveness does not seem to be affected by time or distance. He has achieved remarkable results with clients, whether in the same room or thousands of miles away. After more than a decade of experience, Doug is now opening up his practice to include new clients and referrals, making his services widely available for the first time.
Doug holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology (UCLA, 2007), and is currently working toward his Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology (University of Santa Monica, 2012). He is an avid outdoorsman and endurance athlete, an Emergency Medical Technician and professional rescuer. He is a red belt in Pyong An Do Wan (Peaceful Mind Way) Kung Fu. A writer and teacher, Doug is currently writing a book on transformational healing: Perfect Healing: Inquire Within, coming 2012.
Doug's techniques are derived from years of work with masters and teachers in a variety of healing disciplines, skillfully integrating Spiritual Psychology and Quantum Theory with traditional prayer and the ancient practice of Qi Gong (Chi-Kung), a healing practice centered on breathing and energy flow. Healing clients begin with an intial 90 minute healing and consultation session, where Doug tunes into your specific healing needs and works with you to plot a course for treatment. Following sessions are 60 minutes or longer as needed. In-Person healing sessions are available in the greater Los Angeles area, and remote sessions are available worldwide via phone. Clients report remarkable results regardless of working with Doug in-person or remotely.
